Curiosity Gap

Unanswered questions make people want to know more.

Good for

Creating irresistible hooks, getting clicks, and pulling the reader deeper into your message.

What it teaches

The Curiosity Gap is the space between what the reader knows and what they want to know. If you can open that gap, without fully satisfying it, they’ll feel compelled to keep reading.

How to create a curiosity gap:

Ask Intriguing Questions - “What’s the #1 mistake even pros make?”

Withhold Just Enough - Tease, but don’t spoil.

Break Expectations - Challenge what the reader thinks they know.

Hint at Value - Make the benefit clear, but the path a mystery.

Curiosity is one of the most natural forms of motivation. Use it to pull readers forward.
