Unclear

If you don’t know who you’re writing for, what you’re offering, or why it matters - you’ll leave customers and yourself lost.

Good for

Fixing copy that feels vague, confusing, or directionless

What it means

When you’re not clear on who you’re writing for, what you’re offering, or why it matters—your message gets lost. And so does your reader.

Before you write, lock in these four things:

Audience – Who is this for?

Offer – What are you selling or promoting?

Purpose – What is the goal of this piece of copy?

Timeline – Is this short-term, evergreen, urgent, seasonal?

If you can’t answer these questions clearly, your reader won’t be able to either.

Example Use Case
